It takes more than slick graphics to get your message across. We will present your information in a way that is easily readable by prospective clients. We accomplish this with the proper use of fonts and typesetting. Too many fonts, and the reader is overwhelmed. Limiting the use of fonts creates a cleaner and more coherent piece. We use a 30/70 rule for white space to text, meaning there is 30% white space and 70% content. This a good guideline to assure the right balance of information.

Two types of readers will view your marketing materials. The first group scans the piece, while the second group reads your marketing collateral in detail. It's important design for both groups. We'll offer enough information to satisfy the readers, and the scanners will be able to review your brochure quickly, to determine what your company does, what services you offer, and why they should engage you.

Flyers

Flyers work great for promoting your business. They can be used for project briefs, or as a leave-behind after a presentation discussing your services.

Flyers create a bit of a challenge due to their small size (typically 8.5" by 11"). Project briefs tend to be very unique. They need to have just the right amount of detail, including a project description and specifications, to present an accurate picture, without becoming overly clutters. Tell us about your projects, and we will help you determine the best approach. Supporting files need to be high resolution, so that they look good when printed.

Folders

John Schnell and Associates

Known in the industry as Pocket Folders or Sales Folders, these are a popular design for holding several large brochures. Pocket Folders include one or two 4-inch pockets on the inside, and measure 9" by 12". One pocket usually includes a slit for a business card.

Pocket Folders work great for the inclusion of marketing inserts and project briefs, and offer great versatility. You can easily substitute inside pieces which change frequently, without having to throw away the entire bundle. The Pocket Folder has universal appeal for any contractor who is interested in presenting a professional image. And they're perfect for a contractor sales kit.

Use the inside left panel to provide your clients with general company information, to give prospective clients an overview of your business services. The inside right panel can be used for materials like project briefs and service flyers, which focus on the specific interests of the client.

Forms

Most businesses use electronic forms. They improve an organization's data collection process. Typical data collection forms might include a Request for Information, a Request for Estimate, or an Application for Employment.

Electronic forms should always be clearly understood and user-friendly. In the case of a job application, they should also contain appropriate legal disclaimers.

Electronic forms can be easily filled out and submitted, when it is the most convenient for the user. They can contain context-sensitive instructions, for every field in the form. The forms can be pre-filled with generic information, which can provide guidance, and can be easily over-written. Electronic forms provide users with the opportunity to accurately submit the information you require. Electronic forms reduce user errors, and provide consistency. They can eliminate the cost of printing and storage of traditional paper-based forms.

When users supply information entered into an electronic form, it is transmitted using secure servers. According to experts, electronic submission is far more secure than sending information by mail.

Posters

Large format posters or banners work exceptionally well for promoting your business at trade shows or conventions. If you have marketing materials already, you're on the way.

Posters and large-scale banners are difficult to produce in-house, due to their large size. Supporting images must be very high resolution, so that when they are enlarged to poster size, they still look good. We recommend using our photography services to product your project images. We utilize a super-sharp Nikon D810 and a Nikon D800 (both cameras produce images that are 36.4 megapixels), for your high-resolution image requirements. We use Zeiss lenses of the following focal lengths: 15mm, 21mm, 28mm, and 85mm. They are the perfect complement for high-resolution perfection.

For banners, we attach a Nikon D3x (24.7 megapixels) to a GigaPan Epic Pro. Our Leica lenses with focal length of 100mm and 180mm are the ideal for producing GigaPan panoramas. We can stitch together up to a twenty images (or more), to produce ultra-high-resolution banners that can be several feet in height and length.
