Page Components

Page components provide a rich set of visually-engaging functions. All of our page components interact well, and work on both Windows and Mac operating systems. They have been thoroughly tested with current versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Avant browsers — and will function properly with older browsers too.

In today's high-tech world, it's critical to have a professional web presence.

A well-designed website will give your business additional credibility, and added visibility. It will be a source of valuable information for your clients, twenty-four hours per day.

Accordion Panels

Accordion Panels are smooth gliding panels which toggle open and closed. They can contain text, lists, images, forms, tables, and links— using an intuitive interface. In addition, we can:

  • Add, delete, or change the order of panels
  • Provide panel animation options, including glide with gradual stop, normal glide, or a fade transition
  • Choose a specific content panel to show on page load
  • Set a random content panel to show on page load
  • Set toggle options to show only one content panel at a time
  • And much more...

Glide Panels

Glide Panels

Glide Panels let you present some or all of your Web page content in a logically structured, engaging, and compact format (as this page illustrates).

You can, for instance, display product facts, multi-part forms, or multi-step tutorials, in logical chunks—and in a unique and visually engaging way.

The Glide Panel navigation bar quickly identifies major sections and minimizes page scrolling by keeping more information above the fold.

Tab Panels

The New York Times and IBM both have 'em. So does AOL and Yahoo! Now you can have them too. Tab Panels are tabbed user interfaces — page elements that allow you to display multiple panels of content, with access to each panel controlled by tabs. Tab Panels can be inserted into pages or table layouts. They can be tucked snugly into sidebars, and can span an entire page. You can insert multiple tab panels on a single page, and the content can include text, lists, images, forms, tables, and links — using an intuitive interface. Options include:

  • Adding, deleting, or changing the order of tab panel buttons
  • Panel animation, including fade and gradient wipe
  • Optional tab panel title
  • Several standard style themes
  • Customized styles to blend with your site
  • And much more...

Active Tables

Traditional data tables often end up looking like... well, let's be honest — boring lists of information. Good news! Our active tables are very elegant, and provide much more function than traditional data tables. We have developed a way to combine some simple JavaScript coding, with styling options. The result is an intuitive "active table" with row highlighting, and "buttons" which appear on selectable links.

Collapsible Text

How many times have you seen this? You're presented with a list of questions, and when you click on the link, you get bounced all over the page. Our collapsible text solves the problem. The answer is "collapsed" below the question, and clicking on the link magically lets information "appear." We have developed a simple JavaScript coding technique to create a dynamic effect that is surpisingly simple, and allows text, lists, images, forms, tables, and links to "disappear."

Folder View

Forget about boring bullet listings that you see on those pages with that 90's look. Instead, use the elegant and space-preserving animated displays of Folder View, featuring amazing expanding effects for an enhanced user experience. Choose from one of the many designs in our library.

You can use Folder View for vertical menus, categories, portfolio listings, catalogs, site maps, and anywhere you need to show a categorized listing of many items.

Scrollers

Using a specialized tool, we'll create fantastic horizontal or vertical scrolling boxes that visually complement your page design. They look cool, behave like a finely tuned machine, and solve some major usability and accessibility flaws.

Visitors can use traditional scrolling controls such as arrows, drag bars, and even their mouse wheels. And people with motor disabilities can use their tab keys to reach the scrolling controls.

Client Comments...

I had the great fortune of finding John Schnell to work on creating an updated website for me last summer. John was easy to work with, even from a remote location. He made the process painless, and the charge was reasonable for the site that he designed. Many of my clients and colleagues have very positive comments about my new website, which has increased my client base. I am proud to refer prospective clients to the site.
